Toys, clothes, and the cups piling up on your nightstand need a little attention. Clearing these items makes it easier for us to reach those nooks and crannies. At FaeClean, we don't mind clutter, but since we charge hourly, the less we have to navigate around, the more cleaning we can accomplish within your budget.

2. Communicate Your Needs

Is there a bathroom that needs extra love? Or perhaps a drawer you'd rather we not open? Communication is key. The more you share, the better we can tailor the cleaning to you.

3. Clear Off Surfaces for Optimal Cleaning

If you'd like your surfaces cleaned, it's a good idea to clear them off. We can move and wipe items on counters or even clean inside drawers. If certain items should be left alone, please set them aside or inform us.

4. Safeguard Your Valuables

If you have anything fragile, expensive, or sentimental, consider storing it in a safe place. This is especially important if you won’t be home during the cleaning.

5. Specify Areas to Skip

If there's a room you’d like us to avoid, that’s completely fine. You can tape a note to the door, leave a message, or simply tell us in person.

Pets can be a handful during cleaning. If your pet tends to get underfoot or is nervous around new people, it’s best to keep them in a separate room. We do a lot of vacuuming before wiping surfaces, so it might be best to avoid important Zoom calls. Alternatively, we can clean on the other side of the home while you’re in a meeting.
